Studio News: An Update from Adam & Courtney Cornett

By Adam Cornett (posted by Lindy)

The following is from an e-mail sent by Adam Cornett (with his permission, of course):

Hello everyone,

Courtney and I have just returned to Portland from our trip to Taiwan. It was a successful trip and I believe that future trips may be in store, so that is exciting. I have made some life changes and am on schedule to quit my current position with Shilo Inns by the end of this year.

I wanted to let you know that our studio is up and running. We have the wood floor in and I will be installing mirrors on one of the walls for classes. We will start classes at the studio in the next couple of weeks [early-mid-October or so], but I wanted to let you know my schedule in case you wanted to resume your previous time slot for private lessons or perhaps change time slots.

  • Monday: We plan on having our classes on Mondays in our studio from 6:30 p.m. to possibly 9:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday: Tuesdays are busy with La Onda. [La Onda is on Facebook!]
  • Wednesday: I am available on usually 2 Wednesdays a month in the evenings.
  • Thursday: Thursdays I will be teaching at PCC from 7:30 p.m. to 8:20 p.m., starting on the first Thursday in October. I can teach perhaps one private on Thursdays before or after that class.
  • Weekends: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, as long as we are in town, are currently going to be the most open days.

If this new schedule works for you and you are interested in privates, please message me and we can figure out a time slot that works for both of us.

If you are interested in Yoga, our studio has daily class offerings of yoga and we will be expanding that portion of the studio significantly in weeks to come. Visit us at

If you would like me to remove you from future emails, please let me know and I will do that.
